This hotel is old, as we only saw the "transit" room we've no idea what the other rooms were like, hopefully warmer and more welcoming. Would travel to Sapa again on my terms and investigating all accommodation options. We had booked a package deal through Hidden Charm Travel and everything was organised. I'm sure there are better hotels, to book into in Sapa. Then back upstairs to the foyer to meet the tour guides and off we go. After attempting to snooze, we migrated to the dining room, which was also freezing but had a "charcoal pan" smouldering, breakfast was 'buffet style asian cuisine, not so yummy. so I curled into feotal position on the single bed mattress (no linen) and wondered what in the hell have we booked. It was freezing cold room you would not want to strip off to attempt the shower. Well Room 101 is used for all and sundry on their day trips and those off trekking.
